CIFFC Collaboration Hub
CIFFC is the central coordinating body for Canada's federal, provincial, and territorial wildland fire management agencies. CIFFC is a not-for-profit organization that plays a vital role in wildfire response, preparedness, and mitigation by coordinating intergovernmental efforts and enhancing interoperability across Canada and beyond.
As part of CIFFC's information and expertise sharing mandate, CIFFC connects wildfire agencies across Canada by leading several committees, working groups, and task teams. Each collaborative structure has a defined focus – communications, technology, prevention and mitigation, fire operations, and more.
Getting it done… together.
When a collaborative structure needs help with a project, a task team may be initiated to guide the work. Task team vacancies are open to wildfire agency employees, wildfire researchers, Indigenous knowledge keepers, and anyone with an interest and focus on wildland fire.
A whole-of-society approach is essential to tackling common issues we face today. We welcome anyone interested in participating to apply today.
