The CIFFC Canadian Wildland Fire Glossary provides definitions of terms most commonly used in Canada in the field of forest fire management . The main purpose of the glossary is to provide a means of achieving a common understanding of the vocabulary used in forest fire management and to promote the use of standard terminology among forest fire agencies across the country.
